I aim to create illustrations that are bold, symbolic, and emotionally impactful. Each piece will be designed to grab attention on social media and inspire thought. The series will move between themes of harm and hope. This will help the campaign feel both urgent and empowering.
The visual style will be clean, symbolic, and striking. I plan to use strong contrasts in color, like dark and light tones, to highlight both harm and hope. You can see this style in my latest portfolio addition, the ‘Do More’ series (seen below).
my social media
a small glimpse into what the visuals will explore:
-
Exploring and symbolizing how cyberviolence takes away women's safety and privacy, by illustrating figures fractured into pixels, faces fading into code, or a silhouette under a spotlight.
-
For this concept, I want to show how silence can evolve into a shared strength. By drawing a woman that is surrounded by screens, that all show a form of harmful messages, digital abuse and harassment. This will highlight the isolation and pressure caused by cyberviolence. In contrast, another illustration will show the same figure alongside other people. With gestures and supportive voices surrounding them. This shows how they can reclaim their digital space with support networks, allies, and show that unity can empower and heal.
-
An illustration of women who reclaim their space by cutting cords, breaking screens, or re-coding their environment and surroundings.
-
A woman wears a mask of calmness while behind her, shadows or glitchy forms loom, representing the hidden toll of cyberviolence. Or, alternatively, a version that shows her removing the mask and being supported, symbolising breaking the silence.
